Is chainmail jewellery waterproof? Unfortunately the answer is not as simple as the question. It all comes down to the material of the piece, what you're putting on the jewellery and how you're drying it. Metals such as stainless steel, aluminium, gold, platinum and titanium are generally fine for water, however it does depend on the grade of metals.
