Hi! I'm Sarah and I run Black Widow Metal. I create necklaces, earrings, hair accessories, homewares, apparel and more using different stainless steel chainmail weaves. It all started from a craft day with friends doing chainmail. I fell in love, bought all the material and tools I needed and started my little business from there.

Usually yes! All you need to do is ask. I have a general 2 week rule to get items shipped out, but can usually get them made and shipped within a few days. So as long as I have materials and time, I can get it made quickly and shipped express for you.

Majority of the material I use is stainless steel, with the occasional acrylic or glass beads. All items will have the materials listed in the product description.

This is a hard question, I used to be a body piercer so I've seen all sorts of metal allergies as not all bodies are made the same. I tread lightly with this question as majority of my items are stainless steel, they are different grades of stainless steel so COULD have traces of nickel which is the most common allergy. So if you have a strong allergy, I'd most likely say no. There is an earring work around however. If you have the hoops you can safely wear, you can remove my earring base and switch for your own! All my earrings will have removable base sets you can take off :)

I sure do! I usually have my husband or friends helping me at in-person events and hear "I saw you guys at X event" and they think it's a multi-people business, but nope! It's just me! While chainmail takes a lot of time, I spend most of my days creating so that's why you'll see a full table of stock! I've usually spent months creating haha.
